We are excited to announce that with the NSW Government’s announcement to further ease COVID-19 restrictions on July 1st, Wallsend Baptist will be recommencing on location worship services from July 5th. Although this will enable us to resume services at 58 Cowper Street, there are some strict conditions that will require careful management. For example, the “4 Square Metre Rule” will mean that our congregation will be split between the main sanctuary and an overflow room downstairs in the HopeStreet complex where the service will be viewable via projection. It will also be necessary for all people visiting the church to sign in and follow directions such as hand washing and social distancing arrangements. We appreciate the understanding of our church family in this and look forward to the blessing of meeting together again.
