Wallsend Baptist is looking at options for reestablishing our children’s ministry this year including some innovative ideas incorporating technology and yes, even Lego. There has been a massive resurgence in the popularity of these little interlocking bricks. TV shows like Lego Masters and Lego exhibitions have kept this generational toy in demand, and it’s suitability to children’s ministry applications has not gone unnoticed. The vision is to create a space where we can have our own ‘Lego Cave’ and where children can gather and learn about Jesus in a fun and interactive way. If you have access to stores of lego at home, or see it available for a reasonable price at Op Shops and the like, please consider donating it to the church.
